We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2024, at the age of 101, Owen Martin Strickler of Emporia, Virginia, born in Shenandoah, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Owen Martin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Owen Martin. Though Owen Martin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen M. Strickler, Sr. and Edith P. Strickler; his wife Olivia M. Strickler; and his brother Richard P. Strickler. He is survived by: his children, Owen M. Strickler III (Marcia) and Sharon Richmond. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
