We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2024, at the age of 80, Mary Florence Grizzard Proctor of Emporia, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar M. Grizzard and Ruth Conn Grizzard; her siblings, Earl Grizzard, Frank Grizzard, Elmer Grizzard, Pete Grizzard, Benjamin "Bubba" Grizzard and Ethel "Sis" Grizzard Vick; her daughter-in-law Tanya Woodruff Mise; her granddaughter Lauren Mckenzie Mise; and her niece Penny Grizzard.
She is survived by: her nephew Rodney Harris; her children, Mary Ann Mise and John Mise; her grandchildren, Lucius Conde, Lunden Conde, Jonathan Mise and Samantha Mise; her sisters, Willie G. Harris, Barbara G. Barlow, Alease G. Braswell and Diane G. Smith; and her pet Precious. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 310 N. Main St. Emporia Virginia 23847.
