She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Linda Jackson and George Whitfield (Annie); her husband Bruce Hicks; her son Bruce Lee Hicks, Jr.; her siblings, Diana Whitfield (Amanda) of LaCrosse, VA, Dr. Erica Holmes (Antonio) of Sisseton, SD, Aneckie Green (Walter) of Waynesboro, VA, LaRicky Whitfield (Mary) of Emporia, VA and Antwan Tucker of Springdale, AR; her aunts, Marion Whitfield and Lucy Jackson; her uncle Wendell Rice; her extended family, Dr. Hester Jackson-Mallory, Lena Boone and Demetrius Jackson of Freeman, VA; her godsons, Allen Harrison and Avion Rice; and her friends, Valerie Dugger, Lakisha Gillus, Conseula Jones, Janequa Turner, Shante Thweatt, Sharonda Stewart, Latisha and BJ. She was also cherished by special friends, and their parents.
