She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph E. "J. E." Lynch; her parents, Joseph H Williams, Sr. (Jack) and Bessie Hodge Williams; and her sister Frances Ann Williams Brock. She is survived by: her children, Nora Lynch Smith (Brad), Susan Lynch Tudor (Rick) and Joseph Bradley "Brad" Lynch (Deborah); her grandchildren, Kelsey Whitlock (Clyde) of Wilmington, NC, Hillary Whitlock (Tim) of Raleigh, NC, Ashley Lynch (Steven) of Charlotte, NC, Kaitlyn Lynch McDuffie (Josh) of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Aaron Tudor of Emporia, VA, Austin Dixon of Radford, VA, Chelsea Smith Howington (Thomas) of Cedar Bluff, VA and Caitlyn Smith Weddie (Chris) of Hillsville, VA; her great grandchildren, Adelaide Nicole Britt of Wilmington, NC and Everleigh Rose McDuffie of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her brothers, Joseph H. "Jack" Williams, Jr. of Emporia, VA, Michael H. "Mickey" Williams (Allene) of Emporia, VA and Timothy W. "Tim" Williams (Lois) of Emporia, VA; and her sister-in-law Linda Lynch Foster of Roanoke Rapids, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (210 S Main St, Emporia, VA 23847).
