He was predeceased by: his father Howard Rae; and his brother Gage Rae. He is survived by: his son Dalton McDowell Rae; his mother Janice Drexler; his stepfather David Drexler; and his brothers, Joseph Drexler (Megan) and Todd Drexler (Shanda). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
