With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doreena Haydu Parson of Emporia, Virginia, born in Yonkers, New York, who passed away on December 9, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Haydu Sr. and Palma Desisto Haydu; and her brother Carl Haydu. She is survived by: her husband Roger Parson; her sons, Scott (Brandy) and Luke (Katie); her stepdaughters, Amber Nicolio (Sean) and Audra Parson (Chelsea Wingate); her siblings, Linda Baugham (Vernon), William Haydu Jr. (Pam) and Mark Haydu (Dena); her grandchildren, Cole Hewett, Breelyn Hewett, Huck Hewett, Ellison Nicolio and Wyatt Nicolio; and her pet Levi. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in St. Jude Catholic Church and suggests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (800-608-3023).
