He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine Finney and Oscar J. Finney; his sister Iris Lewis; and his daughter Fern M. Thornton. He is survived by: his fiancée Jeanette White; his fiancée's children, Letisha White of Petersburg, VA and Audie White, Jr. of Chesterfield, VA; his granddaughter Aubrie White of Charlotte, NC.; and his children, Ronald S. Finney, Charlton R. Finney, Kenneth W. Finney (Belinda), Curtis S. Finney, Jr. (Wilma) and Dawn Hewlett Jenkins. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc. (102 South Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc. (102 South Ave, Petersburg, VA 23803). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dale Memorial Park (10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832).
