Though Catherine Acree may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine Acree touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Acree and Judith Acree; and her sister Judith Walton. She is survived by: her children, Ashley Nichole Lensey, Tori Walton, Dustin Cifers, Jamie and Marcus Wall; her grandson Chanson Amir Jones "A. J."; her sisters, Sherry Acree Temple (David), Terry Fajna Gutshall (Philip) and Phyllis MacClellan; and her close friend Karen Gates Taylor. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (427 Ruritan Dr, Emporia, VA 23847).
