Though Allen Powell may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Allen Powell leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Etta Harris and Bruce Harris; and his brother Mark Allen Harris. He is survived by: his wife Tillie Harris; and his caregiver Lynn Phillips. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Main Street Baptist Church (440 S Main St, Emporia, VA 23847). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Burial will follow at Greensville Memorial Cemetery with the Emporia Greensville Fire Department and Military Honors, Immediately following the graveside service everyone is invited to attend a reception at Main Street Baptist church social HallIn lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emporia Greensville Fire Dept. and Main Street Baptist Church in his memory.
