He was predeceased by: his former wife Joyce Parris Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hudson; and his children, Robin Curtis, April Kelly, Karen Ireson and Jeff Hudson. He is also survived by spouses; 16 grandchildren and their spouses, 17 great grandchildren and their spouses, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farris Funeral Service – Main Street Chapel (427 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Knollkreg Memorial Park (556 Walden Rd NE, Abingdon, VA 24210).
