He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Reynolds Neese; his parents, Arthur Blaine Neese and Lucille Fry Neese; and his siblings, Ruby Graybeal, Marie Copenhaver, Goldie Tilson, Oscar Neese, Carl Neese, Noel Neese and Everett Neese.
He is survived by: his daughter Rose Neese Houk (Don) of Galax; his grandson Tyler Neese Houk (Fallon) of Galax; his siblings, Dorothy Cannon of Glade Spring, Vivian Mock of Abingdon and Bernard Neese of Abingdon; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Reynolds Bellamy of Bristol, Tenn, Harriet Reynolds of Galax and Marvin Reynolds of Watkinsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Because he was such an avid Emory & Henry College sports fan, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emory & Henry College Athletics, P.O. Box 950, Emory, VA 24327, in Mr. Neese's name.
