She was predeceased by: her mother Annie Akers. She is survived by: her husband Gerald W. Wells; her children, Hannah, Abigail Wells of Elliston, VA., Matthew Wells (Beth) of Floyd, VA. and Nathan Wells (Tiffany) of Christiansburg; her father Alvin Akers (Nelva) of Christiansburg, VA.; and her siblings, Donna Waldron (Mark) of Roanoke, VA., Wanda Reed (Roger) of Christiansburg and Gary Akers of Shawsville, VA.. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
