He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Gail Smith. He is survived by: his children, Marci Smith and Roy L. Smith Jr.; his daughter-in-law Melanie; his grandchildren, Adrianna McGuire, Zane and Zander Smith; his sisters, Pauline (Conrad Bond) and Lena McNew; and his brother-in-law Ronnie StClair. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
