She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Altizer and Sarah Elizabeth Simpkins Altizer. She is survived by: her husband James B. Wells of Elliston, VA; her children, James David Wells (Bonnie) of Waynesboro, VA, Michael Wayne Wells (Nikki) of Ft. Union, VA, Deborah Vernice Sanson of Elliston, VA and Theresa Kimbro (Jeff) of Dyersburg, TN; and her sister Ruby Lavender of Brandywine, MD. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
