He is survived by: his wife Janice Asbury; his stepsons, Matt Carter and Mark Carter of Bluefield; his granddaughter Hannah Carter of Bluefield; his nephews, Chris Asbury of Christiansburg, John Asbury of Radford and Josh Asbury of Princeton; his siblings-in-law, Ivan Marshall of Elliston, Kenneth Widener of Bluefield and Jo Ann Henry (Claude) of Botetourt, Virginia; his friends, Clayton Hall and Eddie Smith of Princeton; and his pet Dusty.
