He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Maxey Wells; his sister Edna Jean Wells Worrell; his children, Tina Louise Wells, Kimberly Denise Wells and Coy King; his grandchildren, Joshua Gunnar Dean, Alisa Spring Gross and Robert Blake Thwaites; and his great grandchildren, Christopher Ryan Scott Dowdy, Jazmyne Rose Spring Dowdy and Grayson Matthew Dowdy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
