He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Perdue Phillips; his children, Frederick Lee Phillips, Jr. (Donna), Jamie Frank Boston (Lisa), Mary Elizabeth Jordan (O. J.) and Belinda Welcher; and his siblings, Wilmer Phillips (Barbara) and Sue Agee.
