It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathryn Miller Smith Thompson of Elliston, Virginia, born in Hatcher, West Virginia, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Isaac E. Miller, Jr.; her sister Carolyn Miller Ratliff (late Tommy); and her nephew Nicholas Miller. She is survived by: her daughters, Shannon Denene Smith Hannon (Peter Hannon), Stacie Lynne Smith (Justin Carter) and Ashley Marie Thompson (Tom Moore); her grandchildren, Piper Moore, Pearl, Madison, Marty and Denali; her mother Janovee Cook Miller; and her siblings, Dewey Cook (Sharlene), Isaac Miller III, Jimmy Miller (Cindy), Ronnie Miller (Amy) and Charlotte Miller Paitsel (Larry).
The family requests that all guests wear masks, regardless of vaccination status, to both events.
