It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilda Alphadine Meadows of Elkton, Virginia, who passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Connie Smith and Lottie Blose Smith; her husband Manuel Mannies Meadows; her son Richard W. Meadows; her siblings, Lelia "Frances" Smith, Anna Meadows, James, Charles, Elmer, Vernon, Austin and Alva Smith; and her great grandchild Ryan Meadows.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Sours (Bruce) and Daryl Meadows (Wendy); her brother Jennings "Wilson" Smith; her grandchildren, Crystal Meadows, Jennifer Sours (Paul Dean), Tanya Meadows (Clint Viands), Jessica Shifflett (Wes), Shannon Meadows (Jamie Whetzel) and Brandon Meadows (Kate Humphrey); and her great grandchildren, Megan Bates (David), Morgan Michael (Jake), Bentley Hensley, Harley Meadows, Evan Shifflett, Kaden Shifflett and Corbin Shifflett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
