He was predeceased by: his father Donald Lee Merica. He is survived by: his mother Beulah B. McDonaldson Merica; his sons, Derrick Merica (Samantha) of Elkton, Brandon Merica (Stephanie) of Elkton and Logan Shifflett of Elkton; his siblings, Greg McDonaldson of Waynesboro and Sherry Hensley (Eugene) of Elkton; and his grandchildren, Bentley and Bryceton Merica.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
