He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Brunk Eppard and Rosetta Breeden Dean; his wife Frances D. Shifflett Eppard; and his siblings, Malcolm Eppard, Florine Williams and Velva Jean Lam.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Shifflett (Lance Coss) of Fort Defiance, Tony Eppard (Janice) of Elkton and Larry Eppard of Elkton; his sister Betty Shifflett of Elkton; his grandchildren, Beth Eppard Cave, Sarah Eppard (Joe), Joseph Eppard (Bleighton), Melissa Shipe (Brandon) and Samantha Gooden (Greg); his great grandchildren, Mason St. Clair (Maria), Naomi Cave, Avery Shipe, Hartly Shipe, Easton Gooden, Branson Gooden, Jackson Stekli and Asher Stekli; his great great grandchild Brewer St. Clair; and his niece Beverly Thomas.
