He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas A.; his children, Roy W. McDaniel, Theresa F. Hensley and Carol A. Hensley; and his brothers, Edward McDaniel and Carlos McDaniel.
He is survived by: his parent Lona Shifflett McDaniel; his spouse Carolyn Monger Turner; his children, Richard McDaniel, Robert "Butch" Turner (Melissa), Calvin Turner (Tammy), Sharon Taylor (Gary), Rita Allman (Jeff) and Joyce Wright (Tom); and his sisters, Charlotte Meadows, Beulah Judd and Ruby Price. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
