He was predeceased by: his parent Richard Edward Shifflett; his brother Larry Lee Shifflett; and his granddaughters, Brittany Shifflett and Autumn Shifflett. He is survived by: his parent Sylvia Lam Shifflett; his spouse Beverly Jane Dean; his children, Brian Shifflett, Rodney Shifflett, Steven Shifflett and Rhonda Barton; his siblings, Colin Shifflett, Clifford Shifflett (Donna) and Sandra Breeden (Randell); his grandchildren, Mathew Shifflett, Justin Edwards, Katelyn Yancey, Harley Ray Shifflett, Zackery Shifflett (Bridget), Gabrielle Shifflett, Cheyenne Barton, Peyton Barton, Kallie Hatzfeld and Logan Cook; and his great grandchild Emerson Shifflett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be offered to contribute to funeral expenses.
