He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Hammer, Sr. and Daisy Thomas Hammer; his brother Randolph T. Hammer; his sister-in-law Shirley Hammer; and his nephews, Randolph T. Hammer, Jr., Greg Hammer and J. Adam Konstant.
He is survived by: his close friend Kenny Shifflett; his nephew Jeff Hammer (Brenda); his niece Sharon Konstant (Jeff); and his great-niece Andrea Konstant. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
