He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee and Lottie Hensley Dean; and his siblings, Maynard Dean, Leon Dean, Margaret Breeden, Lois Eppard, Genevie Sillmon and Blanche Dean.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Dean (Conley); his children, Preston Dean, Daryl Dean (Cheryl) and Teresa Helmick (John); and his grandchildren, Miranda, Jeanette, Nathaniel, Abigail, Jessica, Alison, Jonathan and Stephanie. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial gifts be made to a charity of the donors choice.
