Prentice Rankin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 11, 2021, at the age of 87, Prentice Rankin of Elkton, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Rankin Sr. and Myrtle Rankin Murray (Raynes) of Virginia; his wife Alice Zetta "Zettie" Roach Rankin; his siblings, James Rankin, Jr., Geneva McDonaldson, Dallas Rankin, Charleen Shifflett, Anna Mae Lam, Alvin Rankin and Kathleen Morris; and his stepgreat-grandson Tanner.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Rankin (Karen) of Penn Laird and Aaron Rankin of Elkton; his sister Lavonne McDonaldson; his grandchildren, Farrah, Crystal, Aerika, Austin and Faith; and his stepgrandchild Niki. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.
