She is survived by: her parent Ada Gooden McDonaldson; her spouse James Linwood Shifflett; her daughters, Nancy Helmick and Joan Thompson; her grandchildren, Wes Hensley and Jennifer Hensley; her great grandchildren, Justin Hensley, Brianna Hensley, Caitlin Hensley, Meghan Meadows, Destiny Meadows, Sierra Meadows and Cameron Meadows; and her sisters, Ethel Cook, Maggie Turner and Beulah Merica.
