He was predeceased by: his father Paul L. Gooden, Sr.; and his brothers, Jesse Knighton and Brian Gooden. He is survived by: his mother Lorraine Derrow Gooden of Elkton; his wife Donna St. Clair Gooden; his children, Paul L. Gooden, III (Courtney) of Elkton and Jessica Gooden Batman (Nathan) of Stanley; his siblings, Robert Gooden (Rhonda) of Elkton, Connie Louderback (Bill) of Harrisonburg and Patti Meadows (Donnie) of Elkton; and his grandchildren, Corbin, Harper and Bailey Batman.
