She was predeceased by: her parents, Garfield Otis and Eunice Eppard Breeden; her husband Jerome Earl "Jerry" May; her brother Otis Franklin Breeden; and her granddaughter Heather Lee Harold.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Breeden of Elkton and Melissa Harold of Grottoes; her siblings, Roger, Randell, Tommy Breeden, Frances Hensley and Geneva Lam; her granddaughter Ashley Riffe; and her great grandchildren, Jayden, Braxton, Beretta Sue-Ann Campbell and Hazeleigh Harold.
