She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Joseph and Eva Connor Freeman; her husband William D. "Willie" Russell, Sr.; her siblings, Paul Freeman, Tommy Freeman, Gene Freeman and Cora Freeman; and her son-in-law Harry Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Juanita Allen of Elkton, William D. "Dave" Russell, Jr. of Weyers Cave, Jane Kibler (Dale) of Harrisonburg and John Russell of Elkton; her brother JD Freeman (Terry) of Norfolk; and her grandchildren, Carissa Bowman (Derick) of Lacey Spring and Scott Wilson of Bridgewater. She is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews, and cousins.
