She was predeceased by: her parent George McDonaldson; her husband Aubrey Franklin Herring; her son Johnny Edward Turner, Jr.; and her siblings, Pauline Shifflett, Frances Marshall, Virginia Walton, Christine Neff, Russell, Ralph "Bill", Leroy, Lawrence and Melvin Lee McDonaldson.
She is survived by: her parent Ada Gooden McDonaldson; her sons, Larry Lee Herring of Elkton and Jeffrey Lynn Herring of Elkton; her sisters, Ethel Cook and Beulah Merica; and her grandchildren, Jessica Nicole Herring and William Derek Morris. She is also survived by mother, grandmother and sister.
