She was predeceased by: her parents, George Herman and Sinia Jane Johnson Collier; her sister Virginia Ann Fulk (Crawford); her brother-in-law Donald Gooden; her niece Tina Byers; and her husband Elmer Lee Lawson.
She is survived by: her sister Sylvia Gooden Dovel (Jerry) of Stanley; her nephews, Keith Gooden and Daniel Fulk; her niece Bonnie Carini; and her caregivers, Brenda Grimsley, Mertie Blakemore, Catherine Good and Lorraine.
