It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Edward Shifflett (Elkton, Virginia), who passed away on August 16, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent John W.; his son Lloyd "Nicky" Shifflett; and his siblings, Stewart Shifflett, Winston Shifflett, Austin Shifflett, Johnny Shifflett, Oklen Shifflett, Owen Shifflett, Lowen Shifflett, Myrtie Morris and Alma Shifflett.
He is survived by: his parent Matilda Lam Shifflett; his spouse Margie M. Shifflett; his daughters, Barbara Frazier (Thomas) of Grottoes, Donna Ludholtz (Mike) of Timberville and Tina Shifflett (Jackie) of Fort Seybert; his grandchildren, Melissa Frazier Hill, Frazier Shifflett (Laura) and Samantha Shifflett (Michael); and his stepgrandchild Jeremy Ludholtz. He is also survived by great-grandchild raised in the home, Alyssa Hensley; 19 great-grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; one expected great-grandchild due in January and numerous nieces and nephews.
