He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayward Shifflett and Ruth Shifflett; his brother Emmitt Shifflett; and his stepson David A. Dean. He is survived by: his wife Reva Meadows Shifflett; his sons, David Shifflett and Steve Shifflett; his stepchildren, Nolan Dean (Danielle) and Patricia Housden (Ralph); his siblings, Sherman, Ronal Shifflett and Bonnie Jesse; and his grandchildren, Adam, Jason, Tyler Shifflett, Teresa Rizzi, Chris Housden, Jonathan Dean, Ashton Beighe, Alli Dean, Jennifer Thomas, Kayla Dean and Amber Dean. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and extended family.
