He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Carlton. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Weakley Comer; his sons, K. Allen Comer (Donna) of Amissville, VA and David Comer (Dina) of Cape Coral, FL; his grandchildren, Joshua Comer (Riana), Hannah Lewis (Andrew), Mackenzie Rollins and Mason Comer; his great grandchildren, Jude, Christopher, Nolan, Autumn Comer, Elijah and Zion Lewis; his sister Etta Francis Plum; his siblings-in-law, Larry Weakley (Kathy) and Donna Dove (Ronnie); his nephews, Keith and Aaron Weakley; and his godson Michael Housden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Elkton, 2580 Panorama Dr., Elkton, VA 22827.
