He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Monger (McDaniel); his children, Katrina "Tina" Shifflett (Steve), Teresa "Skeeter" Snyder and Joseph Monger, III of Elkton; his sisters, Karen Sue Monger of Shenandoah and Sharon "Midge" Rosser of Shenandoah; his grandchildren, Rebecca "Becky" Shifflett, T. J. Shifflett, Haley Snyder, Emily Snyder, Allison Snyder, Courtney Monger, Cara Monger and Evan Monger; his great grandchildren, Isaiah Shifflett and Kelly Shifflett; and his great-niece McKayla Lam. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
