He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Miller and Bernice Davis Hutton; his son John Mikel "Mickey" Hutton Jr.; his grandson Brandon Lantz; and his sister Patricia H. Shifflett.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Comer Hutton; his daughters, Angela "Michelle" Lantz and Carrie L. Hutton; his brother Maxwell M. "Sonny" Hutton Jr. (Nancy); his grandchildren, Cassie N. Hutton, Ashley Breeden, Courtney Lantz and Benjamin Good; his great grandchildren, Levi Breeden, Avery Breeden, Parker Wagstaff, Rylee Wagstaff and Isiah Wagstaff; and his parents-in-law, Terry Comer (Connie), Kathy Good (Mike) and Brenda Fortson (Mike).
