He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schroeder and Lillian Morrison Schroeder; his wife Sarah Frances Dean; and his sister Mary Ann "Polly" Teel. He is survived by: his children, Thomas D. Schroeder (Kelli Hensley) of Elkton and Susan Elizabeth Kok (Eric) of Lake Wylie, SC; and his grandchildren, Kenton Schroeder, Sydney Kok and Lydia Kok.
