It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Ann Alger (Elkton, Virginia), born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 24, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Reuben A. Knight; and her siblings, Virgil "Loring" Knight, James Knight, Buck Knight, Katherine Hinegardner and Josephine Taylor.
She is survived by: her parent Victoria Donovan Knight; her spouse Lynwood Curtis Alger; her daughter Patricia A. Mock; her grandchildren, Scotty Shifflett and Johnny Shifflett; and her significant other Rhonda. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
