She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Sigler and Tillie Rutledge Sigler; and her husband Alvin Preston Shifflett. She is survived by: her son Gregory Lynn Shifflett of Harrisonburg; her niece Julie Cardin Demers (Lee) of Elkton; and her siblings, Leon Sigler of Stanley, Noah Sigler of Stanley, Ward Sigler of Pennsylvania, Betty Pence of Shenandoah and Mildred Fitzpatrick of San Diego. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
