She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Wilson and Lettie Eaton Shifflett; her husband Melvin Eugene "Gene" Davis; and her brothers, Roger Lee Shifflett and Roy Lee Shifflett.
She is survived by: her children, Trent Davis (Alicia), Shannon Davis, Kathy Smith (Danny) and Lisa Dunivan (Doug); her siblings, Charles Shifflett (Linda), Donnie Shifflett (Sandra), Eleanor Conley of Elkton, Lois Stanley (Buddy) of Elkton, Ginger Meadows (Steve) of Elkton and Dixie Davis (Tom) of Harrisonburg; her grandchildren, Amy Cardin, Mindy Warble, Chad Smith, Nicky Lam, Tyler Davis, Trevor Davis and Lindsey Davis; her great grandchildren, Zach Cardin, Jordan Cardin, Lucas Cardin, Jordan Warble, Peyton Warble, Aleeya Smith and Ember Lam; and her great great grandchild Brynlee Cardin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
