He was predeceased by: his parents, Ott Benjamin Atkins and Ruby Lou Eaton Atkins; and his brother James Henry Atkins. He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Brown Atkins; and his siblings, Goldie Merica (Ray) of Elkton, Eva Crawford (Wayne) of Elkton, Reba Hammer (Wayne) of McGaheysville, Ott Atkins Jr. (Brenda) of Harrisonburg, Earl Atkins (Judy) of Elkton and Carroll Atkins (Joyce) of Elkton. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and extended family.
