He was predeceased by: his parents, Ausby Rion and Naomi Dutrow Rion; and his siblings, Tarncey Raynes, Oliver Rion and Ernest Rion.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita V. Rion (Rogers); his children, Reuben Rion (Kelly) of Elkton and Rachel Kirk (Nate) of Cocoa, Florida; his brother Carroll Rion (Brenda) of Blackstone; and his stepdaughters, LeAnna Woolery of Elkton and Mandy Shifflett (Ronnie) of Grottoes. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
