It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Thardus McAbee of Elkton, Virginia, who passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thardus Ladson and Agnes Eloise McAbee (Bishop); and his brother Ronnie McAbee. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Verzich of Riverton, WV.; his sons, Jason McAbee (Erica) of Riverton, WV and Ben McAbee (Heidi) of Dayton, VA; his sisters, Diane Wilson of New Kent, VA and Judy Lincolnholker of Hampton Roads, VA; and his grandchildren, Caden, Josiah, Iylah, Mason, Kinley and Hudson.
