He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Shifflett and Ottie Hensley Shifflett; his son Derrell Shifflett; his siblings, Lamon Shifflett and Pauline Kite; and his wife Reba Edith Shifflett.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Shifflett (Jackie) and Allen Shifflett (Lisa); his daughter-in-law Margie Shifflett; his grandchildren, Melody Shifflett, Rebecca Shifflett, Chad Shifflett, Derrick Shifflett, Troy Shifflett, Beth Shifflett, Shannon Shifflett, Jeff Shifflett and Brian Shifflett; and his stepgrandson Troy Taylor. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
