She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Forrest Kite and Eunice Sipe Hamilton; and her brothers, Steve Kite, Jerry Kite and Lynn Martin Kite.
She is survived by: her children, Clinton Travis Shuey (Samantha), Phillip Mark Bushong and Teri Bushong Curtis; her siblings, Karla Comer (Steve), Mary Beth Cash (Charlie) and Greg Hill; her grandchildren, Dave L. Bushong, Garrett M. Thomas and H. Ariana Curtis; her great grandchildren, Tres Dean and Oliver Bushong; and her close friends, Pam Briggs, Suzi Berry, Judy Didawick, Nancy Dunsmore and Jackie Harris.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home Chapel (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Eastlawn Memorial Gardens (3289 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
