He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Sipe and Lelia Sipe; and his sister Mary-Evelyn Huffman. He is survived by: his son Michael E. Sipe, Sr. (Cynthia); and his grandchildren, Rebecca Sipe (John Taylor), Michael Sipe, Jr., Dana Newell (David Tippett) and Candace Sipe Seekford (Joey). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
