He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Barney" Rolfe and Violet Burgess "Pat" Mayhew; his stepfather Albert Mayhew; his siblings, Lanny and Patty; his granddaughter Ashley Dunklin; and his great grandchild David Small Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Shifflett "Liz" Rolfe; his daughter Wendy Jones (Randy); his brothers, Tom and Max; his stepchildren, Richard Wood (Missy), Steven Wood and Kathy Lilly (Danny); and his grandchildren, Scott, Mark, Tara, David, Dakota, Jacob and Christopher. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
