He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph Clinton; his daughter Candy; and his brother Donald "Dot" Merica. He is survived by: his parent Agnes Harris Merica; his sons, Faron Merica (Tracy), Bruce Merica (Jeanette Stevens) and Todd Merica (Patricia); his sisters, Vertis "Peachy" Merica and Brenda Merica; and his granddaughters, Megan and Storm. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
