She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Beasley and Beatrice Shifflett Beasley; her husband John R. Knight; her sister Dolli Beasley Sherman; and her niece Goldie Knight.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Dove of Harrisonburg and Janie Patterson (Kemper) of Elkton; and her sisters, Hazel Beasley of Harrisonburg, Mabel Cash of Elkton and Lois Judy "Jeannie" (Jerry) of Harrisonburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
